Hahahahaha... Haven't gotten the appetite to sleep. Owh! and its seriously dangerous. Last nite, i slept around 15 minutes to 4. I dunno why?! I did analyze the reasons behind it. I guess;
A. I spent the whole day sleeping. So, malam no appetite la
B. My mind floated like everywhere. Tried to solve things using my mind (I even tried to teleport but to no avail.. Ya la kan?! I'm no Mr. Potty!)
C. I was thinking, there would be someone to drag me out of the bed in the morning even it seemed to be a darn hard task to perform.
As the consequences, i woke up extremely late for the Sahur. I opened my eyes and found out... It was 5. 40. Which meant, i had like 6 minutes to grab something to be munched (Ah! the word munch should be replaced with something that pictures RUSH)...
What I had was Koko Krunch which they now claimed to be More Chocolatey!!!! I practically put my alarm clock in front of me and watching the clock ticking whilst hastily shoving the cereals in to my already-surrendered mouth!!! Felt like i was in this Bang Bang Boom show!

Missing si comel and Mat Nor..
Owh... I wish i had the pictures of them. These 2 guys were my bosom friends. We spent our form 4 and form 5 together and we practically shared the same room during the SPM examination.
We played carom in the nite, we enjoyed badminton in the afternoon... we chatted till we got exhausted immediately before we dozed off.
the two of them were just great and nice. Comel with his cute (as the name indicates) face and his plump appearance and MatNor with his unbeatable jokes that never failed to make me laugh out loud.. or maybe to the extent of being hysterical.
Anyways, I haven't met these 2 guys for quite some time. I haven't met Comel for 6 years (OMG!! That's like centuries) and Mat Nor for 2 years or less kot. With the former with his life in Tawau or Maybe semporna or both and the latter with his hectic life as an assistant manager at some estate.
I remembered where i first met comel. He was the newbie at that time. I was enjoying my lunch with a bunch friends. He was chubby and absolutely oblivious. Then, not to let him having his meal alone, i tried to build a rapport.
Awie: " Hey dik. Budak baru kah ni?" I asked with a genuine smile
Comel: "Owh... aku tingkatan 4." He smiled back at me whilst me beckoning him to sit
Awie: "owh... sorry. so kita ni sama umur la ni? Bah!"
We all laughed. He looked so young though. Guess he still does.
Mat, I met him when enrolled in the Hostel for the first time. I didn't really remember what was our first conversation about. But, as usual, he always got me. His imaginations were so out of control. He did admit though that at first, his impression of me was "A snubbed arrogant bastard". Guess i was.
So, the 3 of us merged and we made a great team. We were not exactly the favourite team in our batch. But we did continue living.
Those memories were so irreplaceable. But, hip hip hooray to me since i got their phone numbers recently and i still can be connected to them anytime...Alhamdulillah!

Raya Mood is in the air!
Hello everyone, Here i am.
I havent been posting anything up to now. Guess it has been weeks rite? Anyways, I'm back to talk about the most noticeable thing these days.
Few weeks back we were busily and extremely preoccupied with Ramadhan celebration. Firstly how do we go through the month and use the most of its. We also did not neglect the fact that we needed to think about those foods to be enjoyed during Buka Puasa.
Then, we also thought about how many Rakaat should we pray for that particular nite.
Honestly, those things are still happening till the Takbir Raya, but at the same time, new mood appears. It's Raya's!!! People are now talking about where would they celebrate their Raya? Going back or not?
Then, they would think about what to wear, how many kueh to be displayed and how many houses should the pay a visit. Everything is nicely planned.
So, speaking about Raya Mood for a medical student like me. Phewwww.... The word is so tempting. Most of the time I spend thinking about raya. What will happen and so on and so forth. Study is something that should not be raised up!
Anyway, I'm here to wish u all Malaysian out there...
Selamat Hari Raya and Maaf Zahir Batin

Ayat Ayat Cinta
People have been talking and discussing about this movie. And mostly, I heard... THE MOVIE IS GOOD... or THE MOVIE IS ROMANTIC... THE MOVIE MAKES ME CRY MY EYEBALLS OUT and THE HERO IS KIND OF CUTE (Purely girl's review). So, at first, those comments didn't manage to attract me to watch it but yesterday, I have nothing to do. (not exactly nothing since a pile of books are there to be read)
Then, I planned to try and watch it. Maybe I'd worth the time and on top of that, this is Ramadhan. Ayat Ayat Cinta kan kind of portraying Islam.
So, there I was watching it for 2 hours or so. I later found myself so into the story. So indulging!! And, I think I managed to resist my eyes from blinking too often.
The story about a young Man who studies in Al-Azhar University. He is kind of famous among the girls there since he possess the great value of a Soleh husband. He's nice, kind-hearted and dependable and all. Basically, he's a great guy. Then, there are 3 women who have crush on him. But, as the general rule.. he has to choose one! Luckily he chooses the one I do admire. *smirks
And the story continues
The story is basically simple but it's lovely. Seriously, the sets, the actor and actresses, the script, the camera angle are all seemingly perfect. I do admire the director. The movie is just enticing! It was a huge mistake that I did not watch it in the cinema. U know, the effect would be so much pronounced *again smirks!!
Besides spending the time trying to resist from weeping my eyes, I did learn a lot. Indeed, a lot. Now I do know what Taaruf means. I did learn, sometimes in life... God tries to put trial on our path and we have to stay patient (still hoping for God to help us). I did understand how difficult it is to practice poligamy if u don't own the real Iman.
The movie is adapted from a Novel which I should applaude his work even without reading it.
I missed the Bus AGAIN
Yesterday, i spent the whole nite watching movies that I've been so longing to watch. First, I spent (or the exact word is 'wasted') 2 hours watching The Love Guru. I slept around 30 minutes to 3 and for sure, i was so darn sleepy.
I woke up around 10 minutes to Subuh. Immediately i grabbed my bottle and gulped to satisfy my throat. And that also, for the Sahur. Then, without further ado, I moved myself back to the bed. Pulled my blanket and covered me off.
The next thing I know, Nousz called me. "Awie... are u coming? The bus is here, waiting". OMG was the only response i was supposed to give but instead, calmly I replied... "Owh.. It's okay. I'll go by myself" I was thinking of taking the train and then taxi to the hospital.
I dragged my recently-washed blanket and hastily checking for that day time table. Phewwww!! A relief. There won't be any class in that morning. So, i guess I should just continue sleeping for a while then. But wait??!! I haven't performed Solah. So off i went in to the toilet abluted (improvised from ablution *winks)

Weekend Post Exam!
How did I celebrate The Post-Exam days. Owh! As usual, i went to shah Alam and Setia Jaya. What did i do? Lemme recall. Tons of things which were conclusively fun and enticing.
Friday; 12/ 09/ 2008
I went to shah Alam to do some photostatting. Then, I met abu and I tried to pull him to come over to Udin's. I promised Udin that I'll come over. But Abu said, he was busy with his coming test the next Monday. But later, after a few minutes of begging, i managed to make him come too. The more the merrier kan?
Then, we met Udin somewhere near a playground. We wanted to go straight to Bazaar since it was almost 7. 3 of us headed to the Bazaar but at the same time 'GOSSIPS!!'
At the Bazaar, we took almost 30 minutes to browse through the foods and drinks. We bought tons of foods which appeared to be prepared for 5 people maybe.. or more.
Then, we arrived at Udin's and were introduced to his new house mates. The bukak Puasa was heaven!!! *smiles
13/ 09/ 2008
Abu was so pushy. He wanted to go back to his place ASAP. He wanted to do some preparation for his coming exam. But, we managed to lure him and make him join us that afternoon for Buka Puasa. We planned to go to shah Alam, buy food and eat them at the Lake side. I know, it sounds fun. And it was.
To our surprise, we thought there would be us only, but later we realized that there were hundreds of people doing the same thing. Eating by the Lake side. Some even brought they kids along. It was cool
14/ 09/ 2008
Abu left us yesterday. So that afternoon, there were only 2 of us. Udin and I. That was going to be our last Buka Puasa together since Udin is going back to Sabah this coming friday. I told him that we better eat something decent... and Sunway pyramid was the best place for that purpose.
We planned to satisfy our empty belly that day with Spaghetti at Secret Recipe. But, when we arrived it was fully booked. Then, we wandered around to look for any good restaurant with Spaghetti. Unfortunately, they were all full house.
Finally, we settled down in Subway... ate full bread of Sandwich but later Udin succumb to it.
*secret... it was our first experience in Subway!

Exam Days!
OSCE was the last paper that afternoon. We finished around 4 p.m, if I'm not mistaken. We were so excited at first, before lecturers informed that we were going to sit for that particular OSCE. (We thought, there won't be any OSCE for the surgery posting.
Early in the morning, I attended the Short case for medicine posting. It was so so la.... I mean, not that I'm impressed and not that I stressed out over my performance. Still, I'm grateful. Overall, the exam was satisfying, considering the way I did my preparation and all.
The MCQ papers for Medicine was answerable. I think, questions were fair enough. The SAQs were sweet and simple. Hehehehe... I think, lecturers had chosen the most important topics to address and to practically shout to the students "Hey kids!! This is important and u have to know it before we release u!!"
Then, it came to MCQs for surgery and Orthopaedic. Phew! The questions, from my point of view were a bit tough. Owh... forget the word 'a bit'. I think, they were really difficult. The surgery was the hardest. The questions were long and definitely tricky. Anyways, what i had to do was to choose between 2.. (2 jerr. xbnyak!!) whether it is TRUE or FALSE.
The MEQ for surgery and Ortho amazed me. I mean, maybe it's easy for lecturer to combine those two postings in to one. And, they really did. Head injury with fractures and possible Splenic injury. That's impressive!
Now, we are waiting for the result and to see what have we done in the exam.

Stair is good
I have to take the stairs, I said grunting! Not that I was so into healthy lifestyle, it was just that i wanted to avoid someone in the elevator.
So, here... I'm saying. Stair is good. Every step is a bless to me.. lol!
Stair is a resort for a teenager who wants to sneak out from his/ her house. Stair is used to avoid meeting a stalker in the elevator. So helpful, indeed.
Stair is a spot for a gang to meet up and banter!
Stair has never been a smoking-free area. Hence, smoking is sooooooo allowable!
Stair is frequently turned to become a dump site.
Stair must frequently inspected as to watch out for any unnecessary paintings!
All I'm saying is STAIR IS GOOD!

I have a Hunch! And i do believe in it
When I did MCQ questions today, i did some pondering later. I was thinking, if i were about to sit for the real exam, how would i perform. The answer is clear and simple: I would have done it terribly. There is nothing salvageable about this. My knowledge in Medicine, as far as MCQs are concerned, is totally on the lacking side.
I don't know. Maybe the lecturers warning did not really get in to me. Maybe!!! I recollect, the Dean warned us about MCQs. Quote, "If u read somewhere in page 165, i am going to pick something from page 75" Unquote.
So, typically.. MCQ is defined to be question which can group students in to two; regular reader and intermittent reader. But, i think.. 3rd group must be introduced which is never-read reader. Honestly, I'm belong to the 3rd group if I don't do some amendments!
wanna go do MCQs now...muahahahaha

Lying... But not exactly doing it..
I know, everyone has the same experience like i do. And, I'm pretty sure, that everyone detests to lie or at least, hates to be lied to. So, when I ask, "Do u have any experience trying to avoid lying but still, the situation would not allow you?"
I bet, u must have. So, this month, in conjunction with Ramadhan, I'll try my best to look after my tongue and guard it from lying. But, sometimes, to get me save from the dreadful consequences, i'm left with no option but to be a temporary liar.
Here are the examples of situation that I might have lied to people:

Here are the examples of situation that I might have lied to people:
- I was so sleepy and powerless. Then a friend of mine asked "Are u going to the library, coz if you aren't, I want u to help me hauling these boxes". Then, my answer would definitely be "Yes, I am. Sorry". But actually i wasn't heading to the library. But to avoid myself from lying, I changed my direction now
- My friend invited me to his party. But, i was not in the mood of attending it. So, when he asked "Are U coming??!!". Eagerly, I answered "Are U mad?!! No one dares to miss it". I was not explicitly saying that I was coming. Instead, i gave him a statement. So, does it count?
- Same thing also happens when parents ask about smoking to their kid. The kid will then answer with a scoff "Smoking is not good for health". The parents should have pursued the question, "Yeah, we know. But do u smoke?". Instead they are just satisfied with the statement which indicates nothing.
- A sister asked her brother, "Did u finish ur breakfast?". He then answered "Yes, I did". She did not ask him whether he did finish eating his breakfast or not. So, he could just toss the breakfast and he interpreted it as FINISHING.
197 more days to Go!!!!!!!! *screaming or in Malay Melalak!!
We were talking about days we had spent with nothing when i popped the question (i wasn't proposing...hehehe) to Yusof. "How many days to go before our big day?". Smartly and humbly, he answered me. "Its 197 days."
My jaw dropped. Not practically, but i think, i should have done that to add some realism! Well, as he said that, I commented "Owh! That's few". He then nodded.
So, as I'm writing this, clock is ticking and, more and more time is wasted. I haven't done a proper preparation as yet. Nothing that can make me proud of myself or nothing that can make me feel satisfied...
As my dean keep reminding me (practically everyone), This exam is going to be downright tough and unfair... Owh guys! Hit me on the head... Push me to work hard please!!!

Bazaar... oH bazaaR!!
When Ramadhan comes, there is one thing that u are not allowed to miss, It's bazaar. From Arau to Tawau, Bazaars are mushrooming, tents erected everywhere... even by the road side. People are selling practically everything! What i mean is; food la...
It's quite different here when i want to compare it to ours in Sabah. Sabahans, from my point of view love kuih-muih for their Buka Puasa. My family, for instance, doesn't usually have a big meal upon Buka Puasa. We are easily satisfied with Cendol, Kuih, Fried mee etc etc. But, mind u! That's not all. Immediately after performing Maghrib... We are going to have the real MAKAN-MAKAN.
That's the time, when Nasi, lauk pauk and everything served. Even, we have a so called bukak Puasa meal prior to that, but still we are craving for more. Especially me!
Anyways, forget about those lame story. This year, I have made a drastic change on my Bukak Puasa appetite. Last year, Kueh Cara was my real indulgence. Days without it felt so empty. But this year, no more Cara. I'm so longing for Puding Roti. Gosh! I cannot even spell it's name without drooling. Help me.....
"Shut Up drama queen!!!!"

Owh... I'm hoping to put some weight this month!
I just could not fall asleep as yet. It's explainable since today afternoon, i spent the whole of it with one and only activity; SLEEPING! So, when i woke up, i was fresh as Gunung Kinabalu in the morning.
Anyways, speaking of putting some weight, I have been doing some thinking. I deduce that this month is going to be it. I'm going to put some fat in my thigh and perhaps some in my chest. Thus, I have to binge. Seriously!
Just tonite, a while ago... I went to Mamak with Yusof (usop the fantabulastic) to have a supper. Mind you, it was not for sahur. I'm planning to have something else on sahur. Well, if only i manage to wake up! I actually had a big meal back there.. huhuhu.. Big enough to bloat my stomach.
But... but.. but... Before that, i had 2 full bowls of Corn Flakes with 350 ml of milk. I was apparently full at that particular moment. But, soon enough, i started to crave for more food..
According to my sis, binging is not a crime. Especially, when u are suspected to have a skyhigh Basal Metabolic Rate. U are gifted. hehehehe

Write Up and Its syndrome
Medical students are so allergic to Case Write Up. I'm not sure about my friends, but to me... I am a write-up-phobic! Believe it or not, i have been saying things like "Next posting, i finish my write up on time. No more delays" and "I hate all the procrastinations. It's so un-me!"
But still, in every single posting... the same thing keeps repeating. I'll be the last or good enough, the second last person to put the report on the lecturer's desk. Embarrassingly admitting it. These are the obstacles that i usually face when about to submit it.

- Whoopsie. I've forgotten to copy the rest of the investigations. Need to go back to the ward NOW!
- Grrrrrrrr!!!! The X-rays and ECG create problems with the former has problems with IT department and the latter with its confidential issues.
- OMG! I just realize i don't have printer in my room. Well, library has it. So tomorow la...
- Got good shows on TV now. Put aside the write up!
- My eyes got so tired. Got to entertain them now. Write up can wait
- Brain got exhausted. Could not force it further!

well well well
We planned to have a plain simple Merdeka celebration; Abu, Udin and I. First i suggested that we screamed our short but odour-less breath at the KLCC, but later i changed. I thought, why not having a moderate but memorable celebration. So, i said "Maybe we should just spend the night at home, doing less adventurous things like cooking and chatting"
But still, i mind them... "This doesn't degrade us as a great celebrator" They agreed for Heaven's sakes. Even abu did (someone who loves concert and head banging).
When the day came, plan again changed. We decided to re-proclaim Merdeka at somewhere decent (quoting Udin). "Sunway pyramid it is" I said.
But, the whole night was dissapointing. U should see how furious Abu was about the whole celebration thing. First, the crowd was not as celebratory as we were hoping. The countdown was followed by a monotonous and disgraceful scream.
Then, the group who led the countdown made things worst. They, afterwards sang their own Merdeka song which managed to make no one to sing along. Sakit ati eh? Join the club!!
Dissapointingly, we headed home... but before that... PICTURESSSS!!!
